Pollinator-Friendly Plants.....

Throughout the year we sell a small range of plants that are very beneficial to our pollinator friends, and that are normally only available at events.
Due to the current Coronavirus situation we have a special offer of free delivery on our pollinator-friendly plants, to all our customers within our home post code of SE9 (South East London), and within a surrounding 3 mile radiusIf plants are ordered you may also add on other items from the website. Unfortunately, other discount offers may not be added on to an order.
 
Your items will be packed safely and you shall receive a payment link via email or text message. We can arrange a suitable time for your items to be delivered (on all orders over £10). 1 litre pots - £4.50/ 2 litre pots - £6.00.

Lavender 'Hidcote' (Lavandula angustifolia) 1 litre - A very popular, compact English purple lavender, flowering from July to September. Height up to 50cm and prefers full sun.
Lavender 'Edelwiess' (Lavandula x intermedia) 1 litre - A larger, fragrant white lavender, flowering from July to September. Height up to 60cm and prefers full sun. Good for hedging and borders.
Erysimum 'Bowles mauve' 1 litre (SOLD OUT) - A perennial wallflower that cannot be grown from seed. Flowers from February to July (although may still flower into the Autumn). Height up to 75cm and prefers full sun.
Viper's Bugloss 'Blue Bedder' (Echium vulgare) 1 and 2 litre (SOLD OUT)A beautiful blue hardy annual wildflower that the bees adore, and a perfect addition to any wildlife friendly garden. This annual plant flowers between May and September (deadhead to prolong flowering) and grows up to 45cm high. It will self-seed in gardens. Prefers full sun. Can be toxic to pets and people if eaten. Sap is also a skin irritant.
Borage (Borago officinalis) 1 litreA wonderful, edible annual and great for bees, another perfect addition to any wildlife friendly garden. Also a great companion plant for tomatoes, cabbages, strawberries and squash (repelling some garden pests and attracting beneficial insects). This hardy annual plant flowers between April and November and grows up to 90cm. It will happily self-seed in gardens and allotments. Prefers full sun.

Salvia Nemorosa 'Caradonna' (Balkan clary) - 2 litre - A very hardy perennial salvia, with violet purple flowers from June until October. Very attractive to pollinating insects, providing lots of nectar and pollen. Height up to 50cm.
Rudbeckia 'Goldsturm' (fulgida var. sulivantti) - 1 litre - An easy to care for perennial plant, that flowers between August and October. Prefers full sun. Height up to 60cm, Spread up to 60cm.
Cornflower 'Dwarf Jubilee Gem' (Centaurea cyanus) - 1 litre - A compact annual plant, that flowers between June and September. Attractive to bumblebees, honeybees and solitary bees. Prefers full sun. Height up to 38cm. Deadhead regularly to prolong flowering.
Heather 'County Wicklow' (Calluna vulgaris) 2 litre - A dwarf evergreen shrub with narrow, dark-green leaves and racemes of light pink flowers in summer and autumn. Height up to 20cm. 
Rosemary (Salvia rosmarinus) 1 litre - A bushy shrub with pale blue flowers in spring, summer and autumn. Popular culinary herb which attracts mason bees, flower bees, bumblebees and honeybees. Height up to 150cm. 
Thyme (Thymus vulgaris) 1 litre - A bushy, woody shrub with pale pink flowers in summer. Popular culinary herb and wonderful for honeybees, bumblebees, mason bees and leafcutter bees when in flower. Height up to 30cm. 

We use new taupe coloured pots, which are fully recyclable through your kerbside recycling scheme. Previously this has not been possible with the black plastic plant pots. Our plants are grown in organic compost and without the use of harmful pesticides.

Throughout the year there will be different varieties of plants available. We will regularly update the website with information. Please also feel free to contact us for details of new plants.

If any plants are showing as SOLD OUT, we have run out of stock of this variety. Details of new stock will be sent via email (please subscribe to receive regular news updates), and also will be posted on our social media sites.
