One of our most beautiful native meadow wildflowers, which is also very popular in a herbaceous border. In autumn its leaves turn a deep red.

A clump-forming, hardy geranium with hairy stems and deeply-lobed foliage.

The saucer-shaped, white, blue or violet flowers are 4cm across.

Flowers June - September.

Very attractive to bees, butterflies, beneficial insects and other pollinators.

Height 90cm/Spread 60cm.

  • Grow in moderately fertile soil except waterlogged soils.

    Full sun or partial shade. Will tolerate shade.

    Remove flowered stems and old leaves to encourage the production of new leaves and flowers.

    When the clump gets too large, simply lift the plant in spring and divide into smaller pieces.
