Pelargonium fragrans - scented geranium
A traditional, tender perennial pelargonium with single pale pink/white flowers.
The grey-green leaves have a beautiful pine/nutmeg scent when rubbed.
Flowers: spring to late summer.
Height x spread: 30 x 30cm
Ideal for containers and pathways.
Pelargonium fragrans provides nectar - attracting beneficial insects, hoverflies and bees to the garden.
Keep away from frost! - in winter protect well and keep in a greenhouse/ indoors.
Grow in well-drained fertile neutral to alkaline soil in full sun, although will tolerate some light shade.
Chalk, clay, loam, sand.
Keep fairly moist from spring to summer, but less in winter.
