A hardy, early summer flowering perennial (June).
Upright stems producing clusters of bell-shaped lavender flowers.
Grow in moist, well-drained soil, in partial or dappled shade. Perfect in a wildlife or woodland garden or in flower borders without an excess of direct sunlight. Grows well in grassy areas or beneath deciduous trees.
To restrict spread, deadhead the plants before they release their seed or collect the seed.
Plant out in spring or autumn.
